Well, it’s filming your audition for casting directors at home or pay to have taped at a facility oustide of the casting office and audition schedule. If your camera will record good quality footage and audio, you can film your audition at home. Here are some tips to help you record an audition that will look professional and won’t distract from your performance: 1. Shoot in a quiet room that is free from background noises. 2. Film in front of a blank wall. 3. Be sure the main light source in the room is behind your camera. 4. Place the camera either on a tripod or a steady surface. 5. Always record a test, and then upload the test to your computer. 6. Get it done! Set a time limit to record your audition. Trust yourself, and be confident! |
